Formerly the Houston Natural Gas building, a major renovation turned the building into the headquarters for the Houston Police Department. The building, formerly known as the Entex Building, was originally constructed in 1967.
The major renovation, completed in 1997, included significant interior demolition and asbestos abatement, base building code and ADA modifications, and construction of approximately 450,000 square- feet of new tenant improvements.
HMA Consulting was responsible for the security retrofit design and implementation.
